Cedaridge Prayer Support Group

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you."
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Without prayer, Cedaridge Ministries would not be able to continue to do the Lord's work. That's why we formed the Cedaridge Prayer Support Group. To be a member of the group, all you have to do is pray for us. It's as simple as that.

If you would like to support our ministry in prayer, we would love to hear from you. Please take a minute to review the following prayer information and mail the prayer form to us. We will add you to our mailing list and keep you updated on our progress.

Sample Prayer for Cedaridge

Thank you Lord for this day that you have given us to lift you up in worship and praise. We thank you for deliverance through Jesus Christ, protection, comfort, and strength. Thank you for the Holy Spirit sent to comfort us and teach us.

I offer my prayers for the staff at Cedaridge Ministries. Lord, guide their important mission. God, please make them worthy of this call and let them fulfill by Your power every good resolve and work of faith. Let them be always mindful of Your Presence and prayerfully obedient.

We thank You for Your protection in our lives, and all the lives of our brothers and sisters around the world. I pray that our brothers and sisters receive the help that they need, and that the Lord aid us in helping them however possible.

Thank You for whispering to us in the night, leading us in Your paths. Thank You for the song that You have placed in our hearts and mouths.

Father, in the Name of Jesus: Amen.

Praying for Others

Praying for others and for situations in the world is important. Not only does it help those for who we pray, but it helps us too, When we pray, we are with God in our hearts and linking our prayer with the Holy Spirit's prayer. It is hard to pray for others, holding them up to God's love, and have hatred in our hearts at the same time. We actually grow in openness and love towards other people - even difficult people, if we pray for them.

Praying with Others

Praying with others helps us to realize that as Christians we are members of a community of prayer. We can pray together not only on Sundays but daily, either joining each other in church or praying in the privacy of our homes. When we do this we can know that others are doing the same thing and spiritually we are together.
