Dear Friends,

At the beginning of each new year, Cedaridge lays the ground work for the projects we will pursue throughout the year. All projects are geared toward serving the Lord by helping our less fortunate brothers and sisters in this area. This letter is to make you aware of our planned projects and to solicit your help in any way you feel the Lord leads you to contribute.

Building Fund: We need partners to help reduce the debt on our building. To become a building fund partner, you can either pledge to donate a certain amount each month (for a one year period) or make a one-time gift. Remember that every dollar the debt is reduced makes this place that much more the Lord’s. I hope that you will pray about becoming a part of this and we can get enough pledges to cover our building debt for this coming year.

Special Project Groups: It is also time for us to start thinking about how we can house and feed the special project groups which will be coming to this area this summer to perfform God’s work. These groups will be here to work on run-down homes, do backyard Bible schools and work in area churches. We need places for these people to stay and groups that are willing to help with feeding them while they are here. Some churches have chosen to give a donation to this cause and let Cedaridge take care of them, others have opened up their churches and other buildings. Others have collected donations of easy to prepare food items, such as breakfast cereals, rolls, milk, bread and sandwich meats. We gladly make the sandwiches here at our kitchen. You and your group are also encouraged to work with these groups. If you would like more information about this, let me know. Any support is appreciated.

Growth of the Ministry: We are still in dire need of a warehouse to unload the trucks that are bringing food and building supplies to this area. Through the love and generous gifts of some wonderful people, we have managed to get a loading ramp on the upper part of the ministry, so we can load and unload trucks. We still have no loading ramp in the lower part or a place to put items out of the weather as they are off-loaded from the trucks. Previously we were getting 85 trucks of supplies for this area each year, but due to the lack of having a warehouse in our new location, we have been reduced to only 15 trucks each year. Each truck carries about 40,000 lbs. of items, so you can see why it is so important that we get this warehouse up and get these items coming back into our area. If you would like to have more information about this just let me
know.

Prayer Support Group: We are still working hard to create a large prayer base for the ministry. We are calling it our Prayer Support Group. There is only one requirement to become a part of it and that is to pray sometime during the week for the work of the ministry. We want God to truly have His way in this work and the only way that can happen is if we are in tune with Him and he is able to work in this ministry. If you would like to have more information about t his, just let us know.

I am a firm believer that God will bless those that bless His work. You can choose to contribute your prayers, supplies, money, time, or any combination. I hope that you will feel the need to become part of this ministry outreach. We have worked hard to gain the confidence of the people we serve and those who have supported us in the past and we look forward to working hard to gain the confidence of many more people that I believe that God will move to become part of His work.

Please feel free to contact me concerning any part of our ministry.  We are open Monday - Saturday (excluding Wednesday).  Click here for contact information.
