Sitestar is a full-service Internet Service Provider offering a broad range of Internet access and value-added products and services to customers throughout the U.S. and Canada. For the investor, we are a small and growing publicly traded company that trades on the Over-The-Counter Bulletin Board (OTCBB: SYTE). Sitestar has the financial strength to ensure outstanding service and we make a commitment to provide you with prompt, courteous and effective support.
Here is a list of some of the changes you will see as a new member of our service:
BILLING:
You will keep the same plan and rate that you had from Jellico.Net and you will not have to sign any new contracts. Your billing will now be handled by Sitestar and bills will be sent a couple weeks prior to your due date. For those who pay via credit card, all new charges on your statement will now be shown as Sitestar and we will be charging your account on the due date instead of much earlier. We also offer the option of auto-payment by bank draft. For those who do not auto-pay and are on a monthly statement, a $3.00 manual processing fee will be added to your invoice. A late fee of $5.00 will be charged if your payment is late. Please now remit your payments to:

Our billing office hours are 8am-6pm, Monday through Friday. After office hours until midnight, our technical support staff can take payments over the phone and can usually help answer most billing questions. Payments can also be made online via our Account Maintenance page at http://home.sitestar.net starting next week. If you are used to paying via PAYPAL, you must go to the Account Maintenance to make the payment or your payment will not be added to your account properly. PLEASE DO NOT SEND PAYPAL PAYMENTS TO OUR EMAIL ADDRESS.
In the unfortunate need to cancel your service with us, cancellation must be done in writing or can be done from our Account Maintenance page. We ask that you give us a 20 day notice prior to your due date and that you allow us to resolve any service issues that may have prompted your cancellation request.
DIAL-UP SERVICE:
You can connect the same way as always and you shouldn’t have to change your dial-up phone number. If there is a better number for you to use, we will let you know later on.
EMAIL
:
You will NOT need to change your e-mail address. We are in the process of moving your emails to a more advanced and faster mail system this week. We are hoping there will be very little impact and it is likely you won’t even know this has happened. If you do have trouble sending email, however, please make sure you have My Server Requires Outgoing (STMP) authentication checked in your email account properties (usually under Server Options). You may need to use your whole email address as your email username if you don’t have it configured this way currently. Give us a call if you run into any email issues and need help.
WEB ACCELERATION:
Sitestar offers Web Acceleration for Dial-up users to help speed up web surfing to near DSL like speeds. We call this service Surfboost. If you are currently a subscriber to Jellico.Net’s web accelerator, please go to http://www.surfboost.com/downloads/surfboost.exe (or for Mac http://www.surfboost.com/downloads/surfboost.dmg) to download ours as the old one will be discontinued. This will replace any existing web acceleration software you might currently be using. You can also download this from Account Maintenance or sign up for a free trail here.
DSL
:
Sitestar offers broadband DSL in most of the Qwest, Verizon and AT&T areas. Please give us a call if you are interested in this.
WEB HOSTING:
If you are a web hosting customer, we are moving your site over to a new server immediately. We expect very little or no downtime.
TECHNICAL SUPPORT:
Support can now be reached at support@sitestar.net or by calling toll-free at 888-271-9672. Our technical support hours are 24x7 Monday-Friday, and typically 8am-midnight Saturday and Sunday. Even though we anticipate a heavy call volume and longer than usual hold times over the next few days, please give us a call if you have any problems with your service as we want to make sure you enjoy your experience with us.
