How to Setup and upload your Personal Web Site
(your Home Page)


      Personal Web Sites are permitted at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE to Netlink 2000, Inc. customers.

Netlink 2000, Inc. offers no Technical Support for Personal Web Sites other than instructions on uploading your site.

If you would like to have a hit counter on your personal home page, E-mail Netlink 2000's Webmaster with your request. Be sure to specify what number you would like your counter to start at.

Here are some of the restrictions and guidelines on personal WWW pages:

  1. No business or advertising related information allowed in personal areas!

  2. Contact I-2000's Webmaster to have your web site directory set up.

  3. Sub-directories within your web site directory may be used.

  4. The total space used within your web site directory and sub-directories within WWW can not exceed 5 megabyte of storage space.

  5. The total access (hits on your site) MUST not exceed 100 megabytes.

  6. No obscene or copywritten material is permitted!

Here's what you need to do to get started!!!

  1. Contact Netlink's Webmaster via E-mail or by phone to have your web site directory created on our server.

  2. Name your main home page file index.html.

  3. Upload your web page(s) and any graphics that go with them to your web site directory using an FTP (File Transfer Protocol) program.
    You can use any FTP program you prefer, there are several available for downloading on the World Wide Web, including WS-FTP, CuteFTP, etc.

  4. Continue to add HTML files and images using FTP to build your area.

Send Email to webmaster@jellico.com to have your page listed on the Members Homepages List so everyone and see your new home page!
