OK, now go on to the next tab on the FreePPP Account setup screen
(the Dialup tab):
All you really need to put in here is the phone number, and as you can see I have the Middlesboro, KY local number in my window. FreePPP will ask you if you are sure you don't want to put in an area code, but in my case there was no reason to do so.
Next is the Options tab:
Here I have put my primary and secondary DNS numbers in, and I have specified the Domain name as "jellico.com". Please note that I have told FreePPP that the PPP server number will assign its own IP address.
Also, notice that FreePPP asks if I want to configure the OT (open transport) TCP/IP for this account. I have said no, since I'm using MacTCP instead. However, you certainly could use Open Transport to run your TCP stack, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't work with System 7 or less.
