During the past year or so, I have worked through many different
excellent Macintosh resources, both online and in print, in order to get
a couple of different Macs on the internet. The results of my tinkering
around are on this web site as a resource to all jellico.com customers,
but also to anyone who has a "vintage Mac" and would like to use it for
e-mail or to browse the internet.
First of all, the Macs that I am primarily dealing with are the 68k variety, so-called because they use a Motorola 680x0 processor. For instance, the first Macintosh I ever owned was a Mac SE/30, which operated using a Motorola 68030 processor and ran System 7.0.1. Currently, I'm using a Mac IIci, which also has a 68030 processor and runs System 7.5.5.
There is a HUGE Mac community on the web, and I encourage you to take advantage of these resources if possible. If you'd like to see some of my favorite Vintage Mac resource pages, please click here:

Now for the important part--in the following pages, I have outlined the setup process to get your Mac online using a few basic software components. Just click Walk me through! to begin.
