As part of our ongoing efforts to provide you the best service possible, we will be upgrading our DNS and Mail servers. This will occur on (or soon after) Monday, Nov. 13, 2006. When this happens, you may need to make some changes in your settings. Do not make these changes until things stop working (you cannot load web pages or your computer cannot find the Mail Server).

How do I change my DNS Server numbers?

New DNS Server numbers:
Primary: 207.191.185.4
Secondary (Alternate): 207.191.185.8

Windows 95 & 98

  1. Double Click My Computer
  2. Double Click Dial Up Networking
  3. Find your connection to us and right click it
  4. Choose Properties from the menu that you get
  5. Click the Server Types tab at the top
  6. Click the button near the bottom that says TCP/IP Settings
  7. Change the DNS numbers in this screen
  8. Click OK

Windows ME

  1. Click Start then click Settings
  2. Click Dial Up Networking
  3. Find your connection to us and right click it
  4. Choose Properties from the menu that you get
  5. Click the Networking tab at the top
  6. Click the button near the bottom that says TCP/IP Settings
  7. Change the DNS numbers in this screen
  8. Click OK

Windows XP

  1. Click Start
  2. Look on the right side of the Start Menu and move your mouse to Connect To
  3. Move your mouse to Show All Connections and click on that
  4. Under Dialup, find your connection to us, and right click it
  5. Choose Properties from the menu that you get
  6. Click the Networking tab at the top
  7. In the box labeled "This Connection uses the following items" highlight Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)
  8. Change the DNS Server numbers here
  9. Click OK


How do I change my Mail Server numbers?

What are the new numbers?
If your e-mail address ends in @jellico.com, @jellico.net or @copperhill.com: 207.191.185.6
If your e-mail address ends in @campbellcounty.com : 207.191.185.6
If your e-mail address ends in @tcnet.net: 207.191.185.2

Note: If you have a domain name (such as mail.jellico.com or tcnet.net in your mail server settings you DO NOT need to change this.

Outlook Express:

  1. Open Outlook Express
  2. Click Tools and come down to Accounts
  3. Click the Mail tab at the top
  4. Highlight your e-mail account with us then click the Properties button
  5. Click the Servers tab at the top
  6. Change the Incoming (POP3) and the Outgoing (SMTP) Server numbers. If you have names in here instead of numbers then you most likely DO NOT need to change these.
  7. Click OK

Outlook:

  1. Go into Outlook
  2. Click Tools and come down to E-mail Accounts
  3. Click "View or Change Existing E-mail Accounts
  4. Click Next
  5. Highlight your E-mail account with us and click the Change button
  6. Change the Incoming (POP3) and the Outgoing (SMTP) Server numbers. If you have names in here instead of numbers then you most likely DO NOT need to change these.
  7. Click OK

Netscape 6:

  1. Open the Netscape browser
  2. Click Tasks at the top then click on Mail to go into your e-mail program
  3. Click Edit and come down to Mail/News Account Settings
  4. Click Server and change the POP (Incoming) server here
  5. Click Outgoing Server (SMTP) and change your outgoing server here
    If you have names in here instead of numbers then you most likely DO NOT need to change these.
  6. Click OK

Netscape 7:

  1. Open the Netscape browser
  2. Click Window at the top then click on Mail and Newsgroups to go into your e-mail program
  3. Click Edit and come down to Mail and Newsgroup Account Settings
  4. Click Server Settings and change the POP (Incoming) server here
  5. Click Outgoing Server (SMTP) and change your outgoing server here
    If you have names in here instead of numbers then you most likely DO NOT need to change these.
  6. Click OK

Eudora:

  1. Open Eudora
  2. Click Tools at the top then click on Options
  3. Click Edit and come down to Mail and Newsgroup Account Settings
  4. Click Getting Started and change the POP (Incoming) and SMTP (Outgoing) servers here
    If you have names in here instead of numbers then you most likely DO NOT need to change these.
  5. Click OK

IncrediMail:

  1. Open IncrediMail
  2. Click Tools at the top then click on Accounts
  3. Click Properties
  4. Click the Servers tab at the top and change the POP (Incoming) and SMTP (Outgoing) servers here
    If you have names in here instead of numbers then you most likely DO NOT need to change these.
  5. Click OK
